THE SHIRELLES - BABY IT'S YOU - FRENCH EP - VERY RARE

VINYL RECORD
Visually the record looks fabulous for its age and appears to be in excellent condition with some very light surface marks - there are signs it has been played before but nothing major. The label is clear of any marks, no owners initials etc.
Sound-quality - I've graded the four tracks as follows:
A -SIDE
Track 1 : Baby it's you - Excellent/Very good - displays no major deterioration in sound quality and plays superb in my opinion.
Track 2 : Mama said : Excellent/Very good - once again, as above really - sounds great.
B - SIDE
Track 3 : Love is a swinging thing - Good - initially this track sounds superb (as above) but a third of the way through there is some sound distortion that lasts for approximately
five-ten seconds with a couple of skips - after which it finishes as good as the other
tracks.
Track 4 : Big John : Excellent/Very good - same great sound quality all the way through as tracks 1 & 2.
RECORD COVER
The cover is in very good condition for its age and still intact. There is the normal creasing and there is a small tear to the lower left fold at the rear of the cover (see photo) but no major wear to the edges or bad scuffing and no discolouration. It has a price sticker at the front top right hand corner stating
'GIBERT JEUNE - SK 2.50' (see photos).
Overall a great little collectors item for anyone who collects rare vinyl 45's of pioneer goups like The Shirelles who had a lasting influence on British bands like The Beatles.
I've tried to be as accurate as I can and in all honesty I've probably been a little conservative in my description to avoid any disappointment. But please take a look at the photos - any questions please ask before bidding.

Postage Information
The postage charge above is for UK First Class recorded delivery. This is because in my experience the least amount of time a package spends in the postal system the better. The postage charge includes a small amount towards packaging materials and travel costs to get to the nearest post office. The actual cost I've paid is usually on the stamp on the package so that you can double check my charges when your package arrives. Anything over that will be refunded when I email to confirm delivery. Any instances where the postage is greater than the price in my listing I will pay without any additional costs to the buyer. I understand the frustration at the cost of postage but I have to pay it too when I purchase items from ebay and until we have developed other means of transporting goods to each other without the need of a postal service then I'm afraid we're stuck with it.
