Description

Lantern jawed Richard 'Jobbo' Jobson first burst onto the nation's art radar with his band the SKIDS and immediately plunged a generation of punks deep into the depths of confusion. Surely the skids were a punk band, but the why was Jobbo dressed in such a clearly arch fashion. It wouldn't be difficult to construct an argument that Jobson was instrumental in the creatin of the New Romantic Idyll, so be there at the inception and get your hands on this poster for The Skids 1979 album 'Scared to Dance'. Admittedly it is slightly ruched in the top right hand corner, but in a style that well befits Jobbo's shirt choices in the early 1980s. Size 49cm x 70cm.
