condition: VG+ (Vinyl is still quite shiny with it's share of surface scuffs/scratches/marks, but nothing at all deep or effecting overall play. Music plays LOUD and STRONG both sides with no distractingly loud or intrusive noise or pops; just a little bit of the normal light crackle mainly only evident before the actual music starts. Plays great!!! Labels look quite fantastic both sides with no writing or real notable wear; really nice silver print on black labels.)
This auction is for the incredibly rare "BIRTHDAY" b/w "FEEL A WHOLE LOT BETTER" by THE SLUSH (known to most as the CHERRY SLUSH), a real killer Michigan Garage MEGA RARITY!! This 45 was released under the name THE SLUSH on the very small CHIVALRY label; something that still remains a mystery to this day since they had already made quite a name for themselves, Dick Wagner & crew, as THE CHERRY SLUSH in the Detroit/MI Garage scene with their now infamous and highly sought after "I Cannot Stop You" 45 on USA Records. Regardless of whatever the reason this amazingly RARE rockin' garage nugget is quite an incredible find!!! This one is for the deepest of diggers and collectors of truly RARE Michigan/Detroit Garage floor movers! I personally have never even seen another copy of this 45 for sale before, it's a really hard one to find by anyone's standards.
