Description

Up for auction is an absolutely beautiful copy of The Smiths double album "Louder Than Bombs" originally released on Sire Records (25569-1) in 1987.  This is a guaranteed, authentic original first U.S. pressing, not a cheap reissue or import.  Includes original brown paper Sire inner sleeves.  Original gatefold cover with lyrics inside.  Includes two LPs.  Promo stamp in upper right corner of front cover.

 Note: This U.S. pressing is the true first and original release of this album.  It was not originally released in the U.K., but only months after the U.S. pressing.

 The Cover is in very good condition, The Corners and Seams are strong but show some wear; the front upper right corner has small crease.  No significant rubbing losses; though the corners show a tiny bit of rub.  Hard to imagine finding a nicer copy.  I Grade the cover Very Good +++.

 The two Vinyl discs are in superb condition, and look shiny and new.  They sparkle.  Still have some original static when you pull them out of inner sleeves.  No scratches, no scuffs, no marks.  Ultra pristine looking.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Impossible to upgrade.  One of the nicest copies you will come across. I Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
