This is an "original" 1985 Sire Records Speciality pressing -  This is not a Bootleg nor newer Reissue 

Vinyl Grade: Strong VG to VG+

Jacket/Cover Grade: Please see pictures for condition.

Unknown to many, critics have called "The Smiths" one of the most important bands to emerge from the British independent music scene of the 1980s. In 2002, the NME named the Smiths "the artist to have had the most influence on the NME". In 2003, all four of their albums appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time"..

The young soldier on the still picture used on front cover is Marine Corporal Michael Wynn. He was 20 years old when this image was taken on 21 September 1967 in Da Nang, South Vietnam. The original wording on his helmet was blanked out for this LP covers purpose but actually reads "Make War Not Love". Meat is Murder was added for this Records purposes.

  Sealed/New/PM: Factory sealed, never opened. Presumed Mint but not guaranteed. Torn shrink acceptable.

  Mint (M):  Perfect, likely never played.

  Near Mint (NM): Almost perfect, very little wear.

  Very Good+ (VG+): Light wear, plays well with minimal noise.

  Very Good (VG): Noticeable wear, some surface noise likely, still enjoyable.

  Good/Good+ (G/G+): Significant wear, skips are unlikely but lots of noise.                                                        

  Poor/Fair (P/F): Cracked, warped, or heavily damaged; barely playable.
