"The Queen Is Dead"
Sire Records (Canada) 92 54261
This is an original 1986 first pressing made in Canada by Sire Records. The disc was made by Cinram for Warner/Sire Records who contracted out their pressings in Canada. This album has a unique mastering as the other contractors (Quality Records and CBS Records Canada) had their own mastering room. There are label variations which depend on who pressed the disc for Warner/Sire. This variation has a small orange "SIRE" at about 2:00 o'clock. The font and text layout are different from the other manufacturers. This recording was issued in a gatefold jacket with custom inner sleeves. The album is still in it's original shrink wrap. The jacket and the disc are in near mint condition. The custom inner sleeves are in near mint condition with no splitting.
This disc has been cleaned on a VPI 17F record cleaning machine and placed in a new plastic inner sleeve.
