THE SOFT MACHINE "THE SOFT MACHINE"

ABC PROBE RECORDS Cat#  CPLP 4500

US pressing 1968 original in STEREO

************************************************************

A wonderfully eclectic record from an an outstanding psychedelic group, playing every week at Joe Boyd's 'Roundhouse UFO CLUB' where The Pink Floyd were also blowing minds!

A cool British original US album release as the only way to get the group's debut first recordings - strange that no UK lable would carry them.

Sales were healthy enough in demand for their 2nd album to be picked up, and clearly an exec eventually 'got it' with Soft Machine.

This is the original US pressing then, and in respectable playing shape.

CONDITION;

The VINYL is NEAR MINT, and been looked after lovingly over the last 6 decades - it's a beauty, top sheen! One tiny needle mark at the intro of side 1 makes a click for a few revolutions, so it's downgraded to EX due to this.

LABLES are clean NEAR MINT.

The single sleeve card COVER is VG+

An original inner sleeve is included.

Please see photos.
