2014 remastered reissue, originally released in 2007. The Souljazz Orchestra, hailing from Ottawa Canada, are one of the hardest working bands in show business. For the last decade, Pierre Chretien and company have been spreading the gospel of heavy funk, soul, Latin and African sounds via their crowd moving live show, and a catalogue of outstanding releases. Do Right! Music is proud to announce the newly remastered 180g vinyl reissue of 2007's now classic Freedom No Go Die. SJO's debut on Do Right!, Freedom showcases the roots of the band's now undeniable afrobeat sound. The album notably includes "Mista President," the breakout single that started it all, a militant afro-banger that is still filling dancefloors internationally. Freedom No Go Die is a must have for any record collector whose strong humanist politics are only matched by their need for infectious untouchable grooves. Do Right! is proud to breathe new life into this seminal, long-deleted early release from the ever expanding, ever evolving Souljazz Orchestra.
