Description
Rare private press of 1969 The Sound Guild 45 rpm. So rare its not even listed on that one record site we all know the name of. Only other completed ebay sale shows one copy sold over 9 years ago in 2016 for $152 on the popsike site and on my copy the label looks much better in terms of wear. My copy labels still very clean, very little spindle wear.
Uploaded tracks on YT indicate from the comment from drummer on this release that it's from 1969 and most copies were destroyed and the band's upcoming appearance on the Joe Franklin Show was cancelled. (JF Show an East Coast NY/NJ late night TV staple that once featured the Ramones). That the recording was funded by what was believed to be the Jaycees in a studio that was known for photography just getting started in recording music.
This copy vinyl still has its shine. It doesn't look like it was played very much. Some marks on surface look not bad like it was from being very cheaply manufactured at pressing plant. Labels are very clean, very minimal spindle wear.
This never shows up. Oh yeah and that drumming is awesome.
