On offer here is a VERY rare one sided acetate (especially in this condition!!!!) called "We Aint Got Nothing Yet" by The Spectres and is a UK original acetate from 1967!!!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE ACETATE!!!! HOW MANY OF THESE STILL EXIST TODAY!!!! NOT VERY MANY - AND THIS COULD EVEN BE UNIQUE!!!! THE SPECTRES WERE OF COURSE STATUS QUO BEFORE THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME!!!! YOU JUST NEVER SEE A COPY OF THIS ACETATE EVER!!!! IT IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE!!!! THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST SPECTRES/STATUS QUO RELATED ITEMS YOU WILL EVER SEE - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK Pye Acetate on the Pye Acetate label (see pictures). The Cat number for this acetate is 7N 35368 and it is a MONO pressing. Any fan of The Spectres, Status Quo, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The acetate label is in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks!!!! The acetate is in STUNNING condition for its age!!!! Most acetates are usually found in visually terrible condition, and often they barely play!!!! THIS ONE IS NOT - and it plays STUNNINGLY!!!! It PLAYS STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and NO nasty constant crackle!!!! In fact the whole track sounds brilliant with only a typical light touch of crackle in the run on grooves!!!! It is also important to note that this acetate is still VERY shiny, and is NOT warped, and VERY flat looking!!!! It also has NO glazing, NO cracking and NO misting!!!! There is 2 or 3 hairlines - though these DO NOT sound. There is also some surface marks, and some light scuffing only visible under light. However the acetate retains ALL of its original shine and gloss and of course plays FANTASTICALLY!!!! Not only this but the label is PERFECT too!!!! The label must grade MINT!!!! The acetate must grade visually Very Good(Minus) if not Very Good (PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed) - though the playing grade is more like Very Good++++!!!! Believe me this acetate is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The Acetate has an ORIGINAL company sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! DONT MISS THIS!!!! THIS IS BRILLIANT CONDITION FOR A 1967 UK ACETATE WHICH PLAYS STUNNINGLY!!!! BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - THIS MUST BE REGARDED AS POSSIBLY THE ONLY CHANCE EVER TO OWN ONE OF THE RAREST SPECTRES/STATUS QUO ITEMS YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!!
