Description
This Autumn 66 album by The Spencer Davis Group on the textured silver and black Fontana label is a mono first pressing on thick vinyl TL5359 with matrix numbers Side 1 1L//1v420 and Side 2 2L//1v420.The disc itself still has a high gloss and has a few noticeable surface marks and a small amount of paper scuffing. (Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality). There is slight spindle marking on the labels but no hole wear.
All tracks are playable with no skips.There are a few audible pops on both sides.
The original UK patented poly lined inner sleeve is in excellent condition.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in good condition with minor ringwear on the front and none on the rear. There is a small amount of wear on the corners. The spine is in good condition and apart from a few "grubby" marks the rear is in very good condition.My name and old address are written at the top left hand corner on the rear of the sleeve.
I bought the album second hand around 1968 and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. It was probably played only about twenty or so times around that period and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.
The sound quality is excellent given its age.
