Hello and welcome to Highlander Treasure House! We Sell most everything at a HUGE discount just for you!!!
We grade our 45 rpm records using the standard guidelines found in Goldmine's Record Album Price Guide and Jerry Osborne Official Price Guide. It still comes down to our own personal opinion, which is mostly a visual inspection under lighted condition (which means they are not play graded). The condition grade given is located in the title or just below at the top of the page (example: VG is for very good, etc.)
Our job is to sell our inventory and we promise to give you the best deal we can.......OK, lets get started...
We only grade the vinyl, not the label or PICTURE SLEEVE! The sleeve is FREE if it comes with the record, the Picture posted will roughly show the sleeve and label condition.
NEAR MINT - A good discription of NM is it simply looks like it was just store bought, glossy and shinny. Looks nearly perfect. We do not list any 45's or 45 EP's as NM due to picky collectors with no tollorence, the best or highest grade given will be VG++ even if it is Mint.
VERY GOOD PLUS - A record in VG+ condition has some signs of wear. May or may not have light scratches or scuffs, faint surface noise, even minor warping as long as playability is not effected. Basicaly a well cared for record.
VERY GOOD - Ok, we are in the middle of the road here and always worth the money. A record in VG condition is your common, collectible and proud to own, that still looks OK and plays good enough to enjoy. They may have these same flaws as the VG+ records, but with alittle more surface noise, a few more light scratches (No Skips). We are talking normal un-sleeved wear here.
GOOD - The G graded records are your everyday played and enjoyed by music lovers. These are still very collected and are used as filler records til sharper ones come along. The vinyl plays from beginning to end without skipping, well handled and well loved. Don't discard these, enjoy them (I do!) you may not be able to replace them.
I also do a quick D4 cleaning (a thorough cleaning is recommended) before I ship and professionally pack for safety. All our 45's will come with a generic paper sleeve (if the original is not availible).
Our shipping is low at $3.75 in the U.S. and only $7.00 to Canada (just 0.75 cent for each additional record) $14.25 outside the country (add two dollars for each additional vinyl).
