Description
This is the original UK LP by THE STAN TRACEY QUARTET, WITH LOVE FROM JAZZ, 1968 MONO 1st Press on the blue/black COLUMBIA label SX 6205
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- XAX 3523-1, Side 2:- XAX 3524-1
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / G, Side 2:- 1 / G
Both Matrix and Stamper codes identify this as a VERY 1st Pressing
The original 1968 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lofhouse flipback cover with 'Patents Pending' credits is in VG condition. The cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colours, on the glossy laminated front. The solid spine is fully intact, showing little or no wear. ONLY one small bit of wrtting above the catologue number on the back, top right hand corner, other then that their is no other unwanted writing, no seam splits. The cover would be graded alot higher but for a 1.5cm rip on the back and a larger rip on the front, both have been sensitively repaired.
The vinyl is in a STUNNING EX+++ condition!!!!, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre! and the vinyl plays **EX+++ / MINT-**. The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity *, amazing clean crisp MONO sound!!!! *. The quality of this SUPER RARE 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! .
The label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear
The vinyl is housed in a original 1968 UK off white polythene lined inner sleeve and is in EX condition!, clean, their is no unwanted writing no seam splits
