Of all the Denon LPs produced, this by far is my favorite; after all, it is a recording of the world’s most favorite virtuoso of cello, and it is extraordinary.
For one, Denon allows you to hear every nuance of the playing…the superb intonation drops your jaw, it is so astounding and so very lovely.
To boot, the recordings are of Starker's favorites, here with pianist Shuku Iwasaki ... music by Bach, Haydn, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Bartok, Schumann, Bloch, Frescobaldi, Popper, and Weber.
An extraordinary release, pressed in Japan, in a jacket like new, the LP within looks unplayed. Pristine, in fact.

Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
