I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK UNRELEASED PUNK BAND DEMO TAPE FROM 1979 by the band THE STEROIDS !!!
This band has never released ANYTHING, and seem to have come from the Bristol area as the tickets for a gig on the 9th of July 1979 was ina Bristol school "Badminton School".
The demo cassette includes all the bands rehersals and recording from early to late 1979, they sound like a bunch of Punk Kids playing in a garage, or a tiny recording studio, they don't play well and they obviously have not found a vocalist yet as all the tracks are instrumentals.....
On side 2 it seems like they made a compilation of their favourite Punk bands of the time including The Cockney Rejects, The Stranglers, The clash etc...
The DEMO CASSETTE also comes with 2 tickets to the band's gig in 1979 (maybe the first and last gig they ever played?) !!!
PROBABLY THE ONLY CHANCE TO EVER HEAR WHAT THE STEROIDS WERE ALL ABOUT !!! PURE PUNK ROCK !!!
