THE STIMULATORS, "Loud Fast Rules b/w Run Run Run" 7" (Self Released). Here is an original Stimulators 7" from 1980, featuring an 11 year old soon-to-be Cro-Mag Harley Flanigan on drums with an extremely rare sleeve. On all of the other Stims' 7"s I've ever seen / heard of, the front and back covers are pink. This particular Stimulators 7"has a pink front sleeve but the back sleeve is light blue. I've asked all the "experts" and none of them have heard of this version. My guess is that since the sleeves appear to have been hand assembled, they must have run out of pink paper for the back. Also, the phone # on the back is blacked out and a new phone # is typed (not handwritten) directly underneath it. I can provide scans at your request. TRACKLISTING: Loud Fast Rules b/w Run Run Run. Vinyl and insert are in awesome shape (I'd say NM), no crackles or pops. The sleeve, as with all over-sized sleeves from that era, has some crumpling / small tears at the top, and theres a 1.5 inch tear in the upper right hand corner. The back sleeve shows some minor ring-wear as well. I can provide scans at your request. Overall this a sick addition to any collection.
