Description
ORIGINAL example of The Stone Roses iconic debut album - from my own personal collection and bought by me within the first week or so of being released in 1989.
Picture sleeve is in very good+ condition with slight wear/creasing around the edges and a small split on the spine - all consistent with a record of this age that has been handled and played with what I would describe as reasonable (and loving) care.
No noticeable dings, dents, splits or other wear and tear - in fact, the glossy sleeve surface is in remarkably good condition for its age.
Black and white glossy paper inner sleeve is excellent - with exception of small split in same place at outer sleeve.
Classic Silvertone paper labels are also in excellent condition.
Vinyl in very good+ condition with a few surface marks consistent with pulling in and out of sleeve/playing on decent hi-fi separates system. Both sides still play really well with no background hiss or clicks etc.
Right matrix numbers - ORE LP 502 A2 and B2 - for first pressing. Barcode 5 013705 116513.
Side one track listing: I Wanna Be Adored, She Bangs The Drums, Waterfall, Don't Stop, Bye Bye Badman. Side two: Elizabeth My Dear, (Song For My) Sugar Spun Sister, Made Of Stone, Shoot You Down, This Is The One, I Am The Resurrection. NB Elephant Stone and Fools Gold were only included on later or US versions of this album.
A lovely authentic late 1980s indie era must-have for anyone of a certain vintage who wants to replace a missing/lost/stolen copy or a newer fan with a gap in their collection.
