Description
The Stooges, self titled album. Iggy Stooge - vocals, Ron Asheton - guitar, Dave Alexander - bass, Scott Asheton - drums. Produced by John Cale. This is the original first pressing on the orange with silver text label. It comes in the original 'patents applied for' inner sleeve and original fully laminated 'Printed and made by McNeill Press Ltd., London, S.E.1' Outer sleeve. You will struggle to find a better copy than this!
Side One: 1969; I Wanna Be Your Dog; We Will Fall.
Side Two: No Fun; Real Cool Time; Ann; Not Right; Little Doll.
The album is on Elektra Records, EKS 74051. Matrix side one: EKS 74051 A1. Matrix side two: EKS 74051 B1.
Released in 1969. UK pressing. Stereo.
Condition (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light): Vinyl side 1: near mint (unmarked vinyl). Vinyl side 2: near mint (unmarked vinyl). Cover (fully laminated): excellent (a very small light laminate crease on bottom left plus some wear on bottom centre of back cover - see photos). The record plays with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
