Description

This is the original UK pressing of the Strokes' first record "Is This It", released 2001 on Rough Trade records. Totally out of print and extremely rare, this version has not only the controversial (banned?) cover art, but the also controversial song "New York City Cops", omitted from the US pressings. A totally essential rock record, and one of the rarest, most interesting versions of it. A very cool piece, and not one to sleep on.

The sleeve and vinyl are both in excellent condition. The vinyl is VG++, with only some very slight marks which cannot be felt and do not effect play. The cover is awesome, very close to NM condition. I am the only owner of this record, and it's in overall amazing shape and plays flawlessly!!

Domestic shipping via Priority Mail is $8.00. This usually takes 2-3 days. If you wanted Media Mail instead, it would be $4.00 and take a little longer. International Air Mail shipping would be $15.00 for and generally takes 4-7 days. The record will be packed carefully in a sturdy cardboard mailer, created just for the purpose of sending records undamaged through the mail. If you had any other shipping concerns, delivery confirmation, insurance, etc. I could work with that, too, but I cannot insure international shipping at all. Too risky and no real way to track it. Sorry guys. I will for sure ship anywhere in the world, but I can't be held responsible if the mail loses it or delays it.
