50 Years of Leo’s Tavern is where it all started. A jubilee is always worth a celebration and therefore, Clannad celebrates this with a special release. Leo’s Tavern, established in 1968, was the birth place of Clannad.
Officially founded in 1970 but first stage appearances took place before at their father’s pub. In 1970, they won a national competition and a record deal. Three years later, the first record came out simply titled “Clannad”. Two more records followed and the band toured all across Europe.
Returning to Germany in January 1980 after a 36 shows long tour through the United States of America, the longest tour for an Irish band at the time; the band was full of energy as well as enthusiasm and was warmly welcomed by the Bremen crowd. This concert was never released before and contains some songs that never found a home on any studio album. It’s this special kind of tight harmonies and pure natural ease only a strong family connection can lend. You can hear this magic in every song they performed on that night.

The Suffers Bring Gulf Coast Soul To The World July 13th With Everything Here

There is a contagious and combustible energy every time the eight-piece wonder-band The Suffers steps on the scene. Following The Suffers’ electrifying late night TV debut on Letterman in 2015, David Letterman exclaimed, “If you can’t do this, get out of the business!” There is something undeniable about The Suffers (whose name is a reference to the 1978 Jamaican film Rockers starring Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace, Jacob Miller and Burning Spear, among others), that instantly hits home with their audiences. “We make music for all people,” says lead vocalist Kam Franklin. “At this point, we’ve played all over the world and one thing is certain – if the music is good, the people will enjoy it.” Since 2011, the H-Town heroes have been on a steady grind and have no plans of stopping. It seems the secret to their success is simple. Keyboardist Patrick Kelly confides, “There is a universal groove in the music that we play,” while bass guitarist Adam Castaneda adds, “I don’t think any of us are trying to impress anyone with our technical abilities, we just want to make them dance.”

July 13, 2018, Shanachie Entertainment will release The Suffers’ highly anticipated label debut Everything Here. Guitarist Kevin Bernier says, “Everything Here, as a whole, explores the many aspects of who we are as people through songs. We’ve had crushes on people, we’ve had our hearts broken, and we’ve moved through all the difficult times so that we can experience the joyful moments.” The Suffers have got everything you need and there’s no need to look further – a heaping dose of soul, a dash of reggae, a splash of jazz, a pinch of salsa, a hint of rock ‘n’ roll and a dollop of hip hop and funk – and that is just a few ingredients simmering inside their magical Gulf Coast soul. Percussionist Jose Luna says, “The glue that holds us together is our experience. We have all played with so many bands and musicians through the years that we have learned how not to step on each others toes.” The Suffers however will get your feet moving on Everything Here, a riveting collection of 15 originals that shows mad love for Houston (there are even cameos from Houston rappers Paul Wall and Bun B), explores the many sides of love, celebrates the virtues of individuality, reminds us of the destruction of Harvey and resilience of the human spirit and declares love for their mothers. All of these themes coalesce into one soulful soundtrack. The band co-produced the album with John Allen Stephens and Zeke Listenbee co-produced on several tracks. Trombonist Michael Razo explains, “One of our goals was to have the songs on the album flow or tie into each other. Like creating an album where you just press play and let it go without having to skip to the next song.” The album’s new single is “Do Whatever,” which opens with tight and soul-stirring horns, thumping bass lines and Kam laying down the law singing “Full on disclosure, I’m not here for exposure. Shipping

Your item will be safely packaged in a bespoke vinyl mailer. We offer automatic postage discounts (where prices are applied) on multiple purchases. We dispatch Monday to Friday - orders placed by 12 noon will usually be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12 noon, or at the weekend, will be dispatched on the next working day.

Most vinyl items come from the manufacturer in a shrink wrap seal. We take immense care in the packing process to protect the seal from any stress. However, the seal is fragile and may, from time to time, become detached. We cannot accept any responsibility for this happening in the transportation process and nor can we accept returns on the basis of the seal breaking.

On rare occasions vinyl items are manufactured and shipped without a shrink wrap seal. In these circumstances we will place the item in a bespoke vinyl protector to reduce the risk of any damage to the product during packaging and transportation.

Our pre-sale listings use the marketing information and image packs supplied to us. At times the design of the packaging or colour of the vinyl, tracklisting etc may be amended by the record label after the marketing information has been sent out. We are often not informed of such amendments and, therefore, bear no responsibility and cannot offer a refund on the basis of such amendments.

Where the item listed is a Pre-Order, the release date is clearly stated within the eBay listing. In the case of a Pre-order, the delivery timescales and delivery dates calculated and shown on eBay, are not precise, and should be ignored. We use our best endeavours to get the item to you on, or shortly after, the release date, however, the speed of the Royal Mail is beyond our control.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if it is not suitable for any reason, we are happy to refund your purchase providing it is:

• Returned within 14 days of receiving your order
• It is in original undamaged packaging with all tags intact
• The product is in the same condition as how you received it
• You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods whilst they are in your possession and during transit. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged when they are returned, and request that you ask the Post Office to stamp the Proof of Posting label when returning products by post.
