PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
RARE ORIGINAL Sam Feldman mastered first Specialty green cover pressing from 1988 on Elektra with three song hype sticker in the top right hand corner, original barcoded custom price code sticker and printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!! LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful. A high grade copy in collector condition. You will not be disappointed. Auction also includes a pair of ULTRA RARE original rigid, two-sided 12" X 12" in-store promotional displays put out by Elektra Records in 1988 with LP cover art on the rear and promotional text at the bottom!!! I bought these from the former manager of Tower Records here in Chicago who loved Bjork and decided to rescue these from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as result very few survived from the 1980s. These are the kinds of rarities Bjork fans are going to be fighting over in the very near future so don't sleep. You won't see another lot like this again.
