Description
Ultra rare promotional single pressed in Argentina in 1965.
This genuinely rare specimen belongs to the Triassic period of Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina, and probably most parts of South America (... early-to-mid 60s!). It has a different B-side than the original U.S. release featuring the northern soul classic "The Only Time I'm Happy". This is probably the only known case where it was published under the regular Tamla Motown label.
Interesting is to note that Tamla Motown editions released in Argentina were distributed and manufactured by the RCA Victor record company. However, this is not the case, because before that distribution deal, they were temporarily managed by Prodisa (a small and ephemeral label) during a few months. These hardly-known and earliest editions differ in some aspects, such as the rare primitive sleeve design.
As usual in this part of the world, the record spins at 33-rpm, and the titles are translated into Spanish.
