This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks/wear visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. There is light wear around the centres but these are not loose and overall the orange RCA labels are clean, bright and still in tidy shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides show light surface lines, marks, scuffing and signs of use and age. It still has a nice enough lustre and there is not really nasty deep scratches but there is marks and obvious signs of use/age. There is no major marks that can be felt but there is two small(5mm and 7mm) ones on side 1. These are the only thing that can be felt and not are not huge nasty or serious. Overall a vinyl that is clearly used with light lines and marks to each side but also nothing life threatening or really major.
I play tested the record and overall it played nicely and sounds better than the VG visual grade. There is a few issues however which I will do my best to outline. Firstly upon playing there is a very slight raise in the record arm on both sides. This is only slight but there must be a fraction of 'warping' to it. It is very mild however and causes no affect to the audio or issues with playback.
As for the audio itself this is generally of good clarity. There is light surface noise in the run in and between tracks but nothing severe. There is maybe a fraction in some of the quieter parts of the audio as well but again nothing severe or disruptive. There is no sticks but there is one skip. This luckily occurs at the very end of track 3 however and so does not disrupt a song. This is caused by the longer of the two 'feelable' marks mentioned above and is followed by three audible tics. These are between tracks however and so although not ideal are a good place for an issue to occur. The other small mark causes 3 or 4 tics but these are in the middle of track 2 and can barely be distinguished through the audio. Other than these two sets of 'issues' and some light surface noise in places there is nothing much to report and overall it would be closer to a grade of 'EX-' audibly.
So to summarise a used vintage lp that has surface marks and lines but plays well and can certainly still be enjoyed and has nice audio overall.
The sleeve is in very good- condition. It is solid with no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks but looks tired. It has discolouring and grubbiness to the rear and also ring marks. There is also creasing to the laminated front(mostly around the spine and left corner area) and 'crumpling' to the top of the spine. Overall not a perfect sleeve but one that is still solid despite its issues. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner which is solid but has signs of age. There is wear to the edges, creasing, grubbiness and general signs of age and so the record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
