THE SYNDICATE / RESTRICTED HOURS
The Syndicate are a sort of punkier Desperate Biccycles with hints of early Pere Ubu thrown in for good measure. Their two songs are reasonably impressive compositional efforts (under-)produced by Dave Simpson. Restricted Hours were in fact The Astronauts in disguise and the two tracks featured on this 7" are psychotic post-punkers which confirm the remarkable musical level of that band's recommended debut EP...(from Mario Panciera "(1976/1979) 45 Revolutions" book)
