Description

Extremely rare Pueblo, CO garage band The Teardrops 1966 single 45 "Sweet Sweet Sadie" b/w "You Go Your Way" on "004" Records 45-004 with the ultra rare picture sleeve.  This record was produced by Norman Petty who produced all of Buddy Holly's recordings.

I purchased this record in 1966 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue.

The record is graded "EX" with a few surface scratches and surface noise on the lead in grooves and during the quieter passages (see photos).

The picture sleeve is in "EX" condition; the photo is pasted over a generic white sleeve as released; the band members' names are printed on the sleeve; the photo is clean but the back of the generic sleeve has a few rips (see photos).

I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
