THE THIRD POWER "BELIEVE" VANGUARD VSD-6554 STEREO 1970
Real hard to score this KILLER late sixties Power Trio which has become in demand in the last ten years. Formed in Farmington Hills near Detroit this band soon beame a local favorite for it's unceasing Sonic Attack. Literally dropped by Vanguard records after the 'higher ups' heard this and deemed it ''Too Heavy" to do anything with, it insured it to be an instant collectable (well thirty years later). Nine originals written by or in combination with Jem Targal, bass & vocals and Drew Abbott, lead guitar. Abbott was later asked by Bob Seger to join the Silver Bullet Band. Titles like "Gettin' Together'', "Persecution", "Won't Beg Anymore" and "Like Me Love Me" let the band show us what they were all about. Give me MORE...SONIC LUST !!!! RECORD: VG (+) - High Gloss, little spindle wear, a few scuffs and one scratch which you can't feel still Very Nice
COVER: VG Real Good condition with two seams taped with 'invisible tape' so I can't tell if there are any seam splits. There is some circles in ink on the front cover and minor overall wear..Nothing major No writings,stains, stickers or other damage
