THE THROB FORTUNE TELLER GARAGE PUNK ORIG OZ 60'S 45!!!
From obscure origins as a Sydney-based surf-instrumental band, The Throb emerged in 1965 and briefly shot to national prominence. Despite its short tenure, the group left no doubt about its punkish potential and they have been immortalised on record by two superb singles, their snarling "garage-punk" version of "Fortune Teller", which smashed its way to the top of the national charts in early 1966, and their group arrangement of the old English folk song, "Black (Is The Colour Of My True Love's Hair)", a slashing, snarling piece of proto-gothic wonderment.Here on offer is an original 45 single that features ensemble, " The Throb ".

Condition of disc - Good Condition - The Record is in G condtion. For non-long term record collector's KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. G means the record is worn, but will play through. In this case the record has lots off marks and exhibits light surface noise, but the record is still very listenable. The record is guaranteed to play though without any jumps, skips or sticking. In other words don't bid on a G record and for some reason expect it to be VG+ .
For overseas bidders and winners it states four dollars for postage but you must add another two U.S. dollars.
