Background The Trilobites were an Australian power pop/rock band formed in Sydney in June 1984, part of the melodic, guitar‑driven wave that bridged garage‑revival energy with sharp hooks and 60s‑influenced drive. By the time “Venus In Leather” appeared, they were a key name in the Sydney underground. Original promo material from this era — especially complete kits with the vinyl — is extremely scarce.
