I’ve described it as new because it looks to have never been played, but the package has been opened for my own inspection

Shrink wrapped but opened by me and never played by anyone. It looks like a first pressing but It’s up to you to decide. This LP has absolutely no defects and is in mint condition but the cover has a split in the lower right hand corner. It is as pictured so bid now and good luck to All bitdders MLP601.

Yes, LT is so old that even the shrink wrap has shrunk a little and the back of the cover is starting to turn yellow as pictured but vinyl is an absolute mint. Looks like it’s never been played.
