Description

You are bidding on  THE UNIQUE THELONIUS MONK

This is the original 1st pressing DG Riverside RLP-209  US issue  with demo on the cover ( not the record)

Cover has bottom edge and demo sticker on cover  and wear on the bottom  ( photo is part of the description)

Visually vinyl on Side 1 is a very glossy VG+ with a couple of minor scuff marks ( not feelable or serious )

READ CAREFULLY: Side 2 has a number of feelable  scratches ( tried to show them on the photos).

Play graded on with a Kondo IO-J moving coil cartridge  on Side 2 you will hear some major ticks ( does not skip with my cartridge) as it grooves its way through these sketches.

Rare record but bid accordingly to the issues on Side 2.

I am not accepting returns on this record as  have disclosed the major ticks on Side 2.

Buyer pays $13 shipping to the US or $25  overseas ( except for SA, China and Australia which would be $30.

Check my auctions for some rare original Prestige, Riverside  Blue Note as well as other notable jazz labels  first pressings this month.
