Description
The original Planet record label existed between December 1965 and December 1966, during which time it released only 22 records. This 1965 release by The Untamed was the 3rd of these. The group never really made it and released only 5 singles (1964-66) as The Untamed and one as Lindsay Muir's Untamed, of which the last 2 were on Planet. It's Not True/Gimme, Gimme Some Shade was their final release as The Untamed. The A side is a Pete Townshend composition. This copy has First Press matrices/stampers.

The vinyl has numerous light scuffs and scratches on both sides and also a slight edge 'bend' or warp, which I've tried to show in pic 3. However, the warp doesn't interfere with playback and both sides sound great, with minimal surface noise and no skips or pops. Both labels are clean and the spindle hole has no wear. I don't have a company sleeve, so this will come in a plain white one.

This rare and collectable record is listed at a start price realistic to its condition. However, I re-iterate that playback is excellent.
The record will be despatched in a cardboard record mailer, with stiffener.
