I AM NOT A RECORD DEALER OR GRADER BUT ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING GRADING SYSTEM IN MY OPINION I WOULD RATE THIS ONE BETWEEN VERY GOOD AND EXCELLENT ON THE PLUG SIDE AND VERY GOOD ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

CONSIDERING THE RARITY OF THIS RECORD I WILL TRY AND DESCRIBE IT AS BEST AS I CAN. I ONLY HAVE AN OLD RECORD PLAYER BUT WITH A NEW NEEDLE I MIGHT ADD TO PLAY MY RECORDS ON. WHEN I PLAY THIS ONE THE SIDE WITH TEARS OF JOY HAS SOME BACKGROUND NOISE LIKE I WOULD DESCRUIBE AS MINOR POPPING ON MAYBE 25% OF THE SIDE BUT NO SKIPS OR ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT. THE SIDE WITH SAVE MY LOVE FOR A RAINY DAY HAD VERY LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE AT ALL AND SOUNDED PRETTY DOGGONE GOOD FOR A RECORD OF THIS AGE. IT HAD A SLIGHT WOBBLE ON MY OLD RECORD PLAYER BUT WHEN I TRIED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT FLAT FROM THE SIDE IT WAS SO MINIMAL THAT IT COULD NOT BE SEEN.
