Notes to Collectors:

• This is an original 1967 U.S. Catalog release in Stereo.
• In 1967, both the Mono and the Stereo albums were released with 3 different versions. All the Mono versions had exactly the same catalog number, #V-5008. Likewise, all the Stereo versions had exactly the same catalog number, #V6-5008.
• We have the original 1967 U.S. with the gatefold cover, the airbrushed male torso and a peeled banana.

Item's Condition:

Vinyl - VG++ - A massively thick vinyl, with  tremendous shine, and some visible but inconsequential signs of surface scuffing.

Cover - VG+ -  This is a crisp and strong cover which remains nicely clean, considering its light background.  Both front and back have mild scuffing, including minor wear along the edges and corners. The back cover has a split seam which has been carefully mended. The inside gatefold is immaculate, though it has a small tear at the center spine.  As mentioned above, the banana on the front has been peeled, and the male torso has been airbrushed off the back.  A terrific album for your collection!

GOLDMINE GRADING SYSTEM

MINT --- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writings, tears or splits. Mint means perfect. 

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully.  On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve, or some of the original luster may be lost on the vinyl.  A slight scratch which does not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors. 

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise may be present, but it should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

All vinyl albums are thoroughly cleaned with the Discwasher D4 System.

All of our covers are placed in a protective clear 2.5 mil polypro/polyester (Mylar) film and die-cut sleeve prior to shipping.  We ship in new, specially designed LP boxes.

All our covers are thoroughly cleaned with Formula 405.
