It was not until decades later that the album received almost unanimous praise by numerous rock critics, many of whom made particular note of its influence in modern rock music. In April 2003, Spin put the album at the number one spot of their "Top Fifteen Most Influential Albums of All Time" list. On November 12, 2000, NPR included it in their "NPR 100" series of "the most important American musical works of the 20th century". Rolling Stone placed it at number 13 on their list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in November 2003, calling it "the most prophetic rock album ever made.”

 ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ALBUM, WHILE IN FINE CONDITION, HAS A SMALL HOLE PUNCHED THROUGH THE RECORD LABEL.***

THE HOLE IS ABOUT HALF THE DIAMETER OF THE ORIGINAL, CENTRAL HOLE. 

THIS MAY HAVE BEEN TO DESIGNATE THE ALBUM AS A REMAINDERED COPY.

I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT HAVING NOTICED THIS EARLIER.

 I have just been advised by an expert that all Canadian mono lps had a second punch on the record label.  So I guess that's OK.
