The Record

Sadly this rare to find Lp is marred by crackle and sound distortion at the very beginning of the first track on side 1 (Candy Says). After a few revolutions the sound quality picks up and remains good and strong for the rest of the Lp.

Further, the sleeve looks rather "tired"

  • 1969 Uk MGM Lp MGM-CS-8108 stereo.
  • The sleeve, which has the split image on the rear, is complete but showing wear at the corners and split (3cm) middle bottom seam;  some creasing mainly around the open edge; a name is written on the rear; VG.
  • The record is clean and bright, marking and light wear; as mentioned there is a problem at the beginning of side one after which a good strong sound with occasional back ground surface noise which tends to be heard on the quieter tracks, G.  A name is written on the side 1 label - see image.
