So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize.  Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment.  It will take a while !!!
For instant sale is a superb condition copy of a FIRST UK STEREO pressing of the 'THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO' album from 1967.  It is on the VERVE label and has the catalogue number SVLP 9184 indicating that it is the stereo version.
The overall condition of both the sleeve and vinyl is at least excellent.  It would be a superb addition to any record collection. 
The sleeve is in fantastic condition for its age with just a few marks and hardly any wear.  However, there is a small amount of creasing in the bottom front left corner and some marks on the front at the top although it may be possible to clean these off.  Also a small amount of 'grubbiness' on the rear.  The spine is sharp, clear and fully readable and in excellent condition.  Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with just a few 'spindle trails'.  The record is also in really excellent  condition and plays superbly with only occasional light surface noise and an occasional 'pop'.  There are a few light surface marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve but mostly the surface looks in excellent condition.  I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this fine album.  The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Special Delivery post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.  Although expensive, it does guarantee next-day delivery before 1pm and, most importantly, fully insures the record which is safer for you and for me.
