Description

  1. Verve Records V/5008, this is an original US mono pressing - NOT a reissue - of the classic "The Velvet Underground & Nico" LP. This pressing has sticker over the torso on the back cover and the yellow banana on the front. Gatefold jacket is VG+, showing some rubbing/handling around edges and some tanning/spotting; there are no split seams, but there is some paper flaking/cracking at upper right corner. Yellow banana sticker is missing most of the stem and shows a few tears around edges, but is otherwise intact. LP is about VG/VG-, showing many scuffs and some scratches on either side. Playback is okay - some varying degree of background crackle throughout, along with some marks that pop/tick - but no skips or repeats. I still found it to be an enjoyable, albeit imperfect, listen. Labels are crisp, but do show a few minor spindle lines. Buyer pays $5.00 media mail shipping in the US; sorry, no international shipping addresses on this item. Thanks for looking and good luck!
