LABELS: SUPERB - CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO marks or writing and only a handful of (light) spindle traces on the Side Three label. Looks like the only track the original owner ever played was 'Sister Ray' which is FABULOUS as that's the track most people usually avoid!!!
VINYL Visual: Both records have their DEEP, LIKE NEW, GLOSSY sheen and are practically UNMARKED. TWO BEAUTIFUL 'AS-NEW' RECORDS
VINYL Audio: STUNNING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP and VERY STRONG AUDIO. Although VU were never known for their high-fidelity recordings - tending to turn everything up to 11 in the studio, this is THE BEST you will ever hear them!! There are NO scratches, NO jumps/sticks, barely any clicks/pops (just a couple of light background ticks on Pale Blue Eyes but I am being extremely picky here and they are, in my opinion, non-intrusive), NO surface noise, NO distortion and NO groove-wear (the set has hardly been played). DELIVERS AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING LISTENING EXPERIENCE ON EVERY FRONT FROM START TO FINISH. Must be graded MINT/NEAR MINT for audio - the playback is practically FLAWLESS and a finer copy would be very hard to locate indeed. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME (not a word I use very often) MATERIAL
SLEEVE: The (variant) gatefold cover is also in SUPERB condition. CRISP, SHARP edges with NO shelf wear and CLEAN surfaces. There are some minor light creases to the spine but all text is CLEAR and BOLD, and a small impression mark on the back (please see close-up photo) but overall, a SUPEB example. EXCELLENT+
