This listing is for an EXTREMELY RARE original The Ventures BG-101 Promo LP. Also known as "Adventures In Paradise" or the "White Album", this surf/rock HOLY GRAIL is limited to only 40 copies. It is a compilation of Josie Wilson (producer of the Ventures and mother of band member Don Wilson)'s favorite songs by the band, pressed to be given as gifts to friends and family at Christmas. This is not one you want to let slip by, as it is obviously not going to show up often!

I would rate the cover itself as VG+ all things considered. It has some very minor ringwear starting in a couple spots, as well as some very minor yellowing in a couple of small areas (see pictures for more details). The back cover of this release was blank. For it's age and considering the heavy stock it is printed on, it is in excellent shape and displays beautifully. The cover looks much more yellowed due to the lighting in the photos than it actually is.

When I found this, the record was in the jacket without an inner sleeve, and has small paper scuffs throughout accordingly. It is extremely glossy though and very well may have never been played, just stored unfortunately without an inner, or maybe was never released with one. There are a couple light scratches, mainly on the B side that cause some surface noise and may skip on some more sensitive systems quickly. Usually these types of surface scratches would not cause skipping at all, but because of the amount of music crammed onto each side, it picks up just about everything. If cleaned on a machine, I could see this turning out absolutely much better than it's current state, which I would still say is a solid VG. The photos are pretty bad but I tried to show the scratched areas.
