"FULLY INTERLOCKING" LP
MEGA RARE
1968 1st UK stereo pressing on the DERAM label
SML 1025 ZAL-8262-1W & ZAL-8263-1W 1st Pressing Matrix Numbers 1/G & 1/G Earliest Stampers Cover: Clout & Baker 1st pressing non-gatefold cover with laminated front and unlaminated rear. Clear readable spine. Has a name at the top of the rear cover. Excellent condition - see photos. Poly-lined stereo inner sleeve is Excellent. Vinyl: Play tested. Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Looks VG with a nice sheen and some non-feelable hairlines plus one small feelable scratch on Side 1. There is some light crackle on the run-in to both sides and on the quieter tracks e.g. "Hatton Mill Morning" where the feelable scratch is located. Some pops/clicks in places. Plays VG(-) overall with some tracks playing VG+ and some playing Good. The rocking tracks in particular sound great. No skips or jumps on my system and the vinyl still provides an enjoyable listening experience with plenty of play left in it. Would benefit from a clean to bring up to its best - not played for around 40 years before play testing. Labels: Excellent+. Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
