THE WHITE STRIPES - ELEPHANT (XLLP 162) 2LP gatefold sleeve
RARE original 2003 Australian pressing - only 500 pressed and now very hard to find!
Vinyl is overall in beautiful condition - appears to have been rarely played - HOWEVER there is one light irregular scratch on the B side which crosses tracks 1 and 2, possibly the result of small grit in the card inner sleeve (?) SEE LAST PHOTO (sorry my camera does not do great macro shots!) but are otherwise excellent (discs have been rehoused in polythene liners). Spindle holes still have some excess vinyl swarf attached and although I believe there may be some signs to indicate that the records could have been played, the fact that the swarf is still present suggests to me that these discs have only occasionally - (perhaps only once?) - ever been penetrated by a spindle. EX- Gatefold jacket has a matt finish and is near flawless - some extremely minor signs of shelf-wear along the top and bottom edges/corners but seriously inoffensive and overall exceptionally well cared for. NM. Includes original card inner sleeves.
Rare opportunity to buy this super-rare LP in such amazing condition, with the only notable detriment I can see being the unfortunate scratch on side B. A crying shame but try to find this LP otherwise in any condition!
