ORIGINAL US MONO LP PRESSING
of the one that started it all:
"THE WHO sings MY GENERATION"
their 12-song debut album on Decca from 1966
this original MONO copy looks rough
you're gonna think "no way" ---- until you play it and discover.....
it plays beautifully like so many of these pressings from this time period
where the rec looks skated on, yet still plays/sounds terrific...
you'll know you got a good one
 as soon as you hear the guitar intro to "Out In The Street"!!
the presence & fidelity are incredible!!
recently machine-cleaned
I played it 3 or 4 times this past week
the cover shows some minor less-than-normal wear
there is thin white tape at top & spine -- not offensive
rec comes in the original printed Decca inner sleeve
