On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called 'A Quick One' and is a MASSIVELY rare 1966 MONO 1st Pressing on 1st Press Reaction label!!!! THIS IS A VERY HARD LP TO FIND THESE DAYS - AND IT IS EVEN RARER IN THIS CONDITION!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS!!!! IT HAS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESS STYLE OF HEAVILY 'TEXTURED' REACTION LABELS, MASSIVELY THICK VINYL, A 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' SLEEVE AND EVEN MORE INTERESTINGLY THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE (AND CORRECT) INNER SLEEVE WITH 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' TEXT!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Reaction MONO 1st pressing from 1966 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 593 002 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press heavily 'Textured' Reaction label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 MEGA light wispy scufflines (only visible under EXTREME light) and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+!!!! STUNNING!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover does have some laminate glazing (only visible under light) - though this is fairly typical of this cover and certainly doesnt detract. This is a BRILLIANT conditioned cover and must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
