THE WHO – FACE DANCES – 1st UK PRESS – PETER BLAKE COVER + RARE POSTER – EX/VG
Lovely glossy vinyl. Strictly speaking a visual VG as there is a very light scuff across side one, but you have to angle it into the light to see it and it cannot be heard in play – it plays EX. Apart from that, just a few sleeve lines, equally hard to see. I’ve played the whole record before listing and it sounds great – no pops or clicks.
Cover design by Peter Blake, features 16 portraits of the four members of the Who by noted British artists, including Blake and David Hockney. Comes with a 24” X 24” poster replicating the front cover, also in great condition – so often lost or damaged.
1st press from March 1981, probably (arguably) the last great Who album.

Both run-ins are silent and it sounds great, crying out to be played loud!
Cover in good shape overall, but edges rubbed and a small tear at front bottom right (see photo), hence the VG grade.
Lyric inner also in great condition.
