Description

THE WHO MY GENERATION 1st ORIGINAL 1965 BRUNSWICK LP – LAT 8616

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON 1ST PRESS 'GROOVED' BRUNSWICK LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1B/1B MONO MATRIX ENDINGS AND 1ST PRESS 'ROBERT STACE' LAMINATED MONO COVER

In 1965 when this album was first released it only ever sold in small amounts and therefore was almost immediately deleted. As a result this record is very rare and hard to find today. It has first pressing matrix endings of MG 10256 1B / MG 10257 1B. It is also printed with the earliest possible tax coding of MT where as later ones have KT.

Condition:
This album is almost 45 years old and was bought by me when I was still at school. Next year I am due to retire and have decided it is time to harden my heart and find new homes for my extensive record collection. This has been one of my all time favourite albums so I will be honest and say that it has been played a lot. However, it plays perfectly and has great sound quality. Visibly it does have a few scuffs and scratches but this does not affect the sound quality and there are no jumps. The cover is looking a little tired but so am I - it’s what’s on the inside that counts J

Postage & Packaging:

I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels I send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then I am afraid that I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
