THE WHO – MY GENERATION
A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS MOD CLASSIC IN REALLY LISTENABLE CONDITION (see below).

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG
Sleeve is in passable condition. The sleeve is robust and doesn’t suffer from any significant damage. There are 2 slight tears at the aperture to the front of the sleeve. These measure less than 1cm. There is also some slight feathering at the aperture. There is no edge wear and there are no splits to the seams. The un-laminated back piece is slightly grubby with some ringwear. All in all an OK sleeve.
RECORD: VG
Under bright light the record shows a number of light hairlines and angel hair marks. There are no feelable scratches. The record plays through really well with some occasional light background noise. The record would play grade as VG+ if it were not for the fact that the record sticks during the first chorus of The Kids Are Alright. I can’t see why this is happening; it may be due to some dirt being stuck in the grooves and so may be rectified by a thorough clean. Overall a great sounding copy of a very rare first pressing.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
