This is an auction for the mega rare and increasingly scarce Mono 1st press of MY GENERATION by The Who on the BRUNSWICK label. The 1st press labels with inverted numbers MG. 10256 and MG.10257 are in very good plus condition.
The vinyl has been well played and is in very good condition.
The front laminated sleeve has no writing and is in good plus condition with creases, corner and edge wear. The non laminated back sleeve is in very good plus condition and free of any graffiti.
The spine is in excellent condition and fully readable with some dents and corner wear.

Mint
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
Near Mint
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
Excellent
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and may have some superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
Very good
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
Good
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.

Items are not insured and I will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. All items are properly packaged and I always obtain proof of postage. Please note that, whilst it is comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post , my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer.
If the bidding exceeds £39 in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £7. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5.7 insurance in addition to the p&p.
