Great item for fans of British Invasion Rock and white-label promo collectors!

Here is an excellent original WHITE LABEL PROMO copy of THE WHO’s classic pop rock album “MAGIC BUS” on the DECCA label, from 1968.   

Catalog number is DL-5064, as shown on the record label.  (Interestingly, this record is contained in a stereo jacket (DL 75064) with a “MONAURAL” sticker affixed in the upper right corner.  By 1968, I recall that mono records were in the process of being phased out, and so I suppose Decca didn’t bother to print mono jackets.)

Jacket:  Condition of jacket is nice VG to VG+ with several minor flaws – a bit of general surface wear, ring wear beginning to show, and some wear along the seams.  Small splits at 3 places on the spine (each about 1 inch), and heavy wear on bottom seam.  Lighter wear along top seam.  No writing or stickers.  Not a great jacket, but given the scarcity of mono jackets and the fine condition of the white promo disc, I think this will be acceptable to most if not all collectors.    

Vinyl:  Disc is very close to near mint, with full brilliant gloss.  Appears to have been played a very small number of times, probably 2 or 3 times at most.  Labels are clean with no stickers or writing.  Fidelity is awesome.  A couple minor scuffs, otherwise pristine.  I think the winning bidder will be very pleased.  As always, your satisfaction is fully guaranteed.
