THE WHO - FRENCH READY STEADY WHO EP
This is a beautiful French EP from The Who, "Ready Steady Who". Released in 1966 on the Polydor International label, it's become one of the most, if not THE most sought after French EP's they released.
This unique picture sleeve (different cover and track listing from the much more common UK version) is in excellent condition. There are no marks whatsoever and the spine is in perfect condition. These French EP's came in rigid sleeves with spines similar to LP's...many, because of poor storage methods, were flattened...this one is perfect. The glossy cover photo has no smudges and the finish is pristine. On the back, all seams are tight and all printed words are perfect. If you would like larger versions of any of these scans, feel free to ask. The vinyl plays beautifully and has virtually no surface noise. Both labels are perfect, with absolutely no writing.
There are four (4) tracks on this EP..."Heatwave" / "Batman" / "Bucket T" and "Barbara Ann". Again, all 4 play perfectly...I played the entire disc this morning (on very good equipment) and there are absolutely NO skips. I would grade the vinyl a very strong VG+, as I'm always hesitant to use the "M" word when it comes to 38 year old records.
This is a great opprtunity to own one of the rarest Who European releases. This does not show up too often for sale anywhere.
