Very Rare 1972 Nr Mint/ N Mint UK Track Record True 1st Pressing A//1 B//1 Matrix 'The Who - Live At Leeds' Thick & Chunky UK 1st Press Vinyl In Stunning Nr Mint Condition!!! Correct & Nr Mint 1st Issue MacNeill Pocket Sleeve w/ Black Text!!! Complete with All 12 Correct MINT Inserts including 3 Rare 1st Press Variants & Poster & Photo!!! Stunning Nr Mint Throughout The Best Example You Will Ever See!!!
Here's another from my own pristine Nr Mint collection of rare 1960's & 70's Prog/Psych/Rock & Folk (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings I have found. My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, most now have to find new homes. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist unless you own a time machine and go back and bag a job in a 1960's record pressing plant!)
You are bidding on the massively rare orig. UK Track Record 1st Pressing (straight from the master!) of 'The Who Live At Leeds'!!! Seen by many of one of the best-ever recorded live concerts, this record is a bit of an odd one. Although there are a few copies still record kicking about, they are all later presses. This copy is very very special!!! In al my years of record collecting it is the very best Nr Mint 1st pressing I have ever seen!!! There are a number of features which make this particular copy very, very rare and distinguish is as the earliest 1st pressing. Firstly and perhaps most importantly, this is the earliest 1st ever UK pressing with the A1//B1 matrix. These are exceptionally rare, and when this album does turn up nowadays, it is almost always as a later A3//B3 (or even later) pressing. To find the true 1st ever chunky A1/B1 pressing of this legendary album is very, very hard!!! What's more, this beautiful copy is in Nr Mint condition!!! The vinyl has only been played once or twice before and is in stunning pristine unblemished condition!!! However, there are many other features that identify this as the earliest 1st press. For starters, only the VERY FIRST issues of this sleeve had the black title text, all later pressing has red or blue. To find a true black text 1st issue sleeve in Nr Mint condition is impossible!!! Further, both the ‘Premier Talents’ insert and the ‘high Numbers Concert Dates/Fees’ insets should BOTH be printed on yellow paper (later copies are on white paper). However, the rarest and hardest to find as an original 1st pressing insert is the small ‘Overhead Guitar’ picture!!! On the reverse side of this picture there are some ‘hand written’ lyrics (see my image). And on the very first pressing these are reproduced in the correct ‘blue’ biro - as seen here – however on ALL later pressings this is reproduced in black pen. It is virtually impossible to find this insert in its TRUE original 1st press state with blue biro!!! Obviously, this beautiful record comes COMPLETE with ALL INSERTS!!!! This includes the mega rare poster, which is almost always missing from the package!!! It is complete with its original 1st press MacNeill press 'pocketed' sleeve, which is in superb Ex+++ condition and still has both staples intact. To find a complete UK 1st pressing in Nr Mint condition today is all but impossible - don't let this one get away Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!

All you really need to know is that this is the Earliest TRUE UK 1st press and it is in Stuning Nr Mint/ Nr Mint condition - the best you will probably ever see. If you are looking for the very best possible Nr Mint 1st pressing ifor the highest grade Nr Mint 1st press collection, then this is it!!!
This vinyl is in stunning immaculate condition!!! The Classic Blue on White centre labels are in stunning condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There are only the faintest trace of a spindle lines and that's it!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are also MINT-!!! What can I say about the vinyl that I have not already said? It is stone cold mint- with NO Scratches, No scuffing, NO Hairlines NO Bagrash - It is absolutely perfect save maybe for one or two wispy paper lines (please note that these are almost invisible, non-sounding and NOT hairlines!!!) This chunky 1st press disc looks like it came off the master press this morning!!! It has all the deep shine a newly pressed record that as only ever been played once or at the most twice before!!! Impossible for this record!!! The record still retains ALL of its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It it has NO jumps, NO skips, NO between track crackle and NO nasty loud pops!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!). I have no hesitation whatsoever with grading this vinyl as a strong Mint-!!! Its as simple as that it does not have a single blemish to it - not even a hairline!!! It is that most elusive of things, a true Mint- UK A1//B1 1st press 'Live at Leeds'!!! (suitable for the highest grade Mint- collection - you will not find a better example!!)
The MEGA RARE 1st Press 'Graphreaks' - designed MacNeill 'Pocket' sleeve with the 1st press 'Black Text' is also in Stunning Nr Mint condition! It has NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind! It is completely blemish free!!! Only the very first issues of this sleeve had the black title text, all later pressing has red or blue. To find a true black text 1st issue sleeve in Nr Mint condition is impossible!!! The staples are perfectly intact and there are no creases at all!!! - It is perfectly mint flat and does not even has the faintest hint of a crease!! ! Impossible for this sleeve!!! I cannot find anything at all wrong with this sleeve - it is that good!!! This superb 1st press sleeve easily grades as a strong Nr Mint!!
All 12 inserts are correct and present and all are in pristine MINT condition, they have only been removed from the sleeve once since new, and that is to photo!!! Everything including the poster and photo are correct and present. These 2 were often removed from the sleeve and stuck to the wall and are usually missing, or at least badly damaged, in most copies you see today. This one is different!!! Both are present and both are in Mint condition, and have never been removed from the sleeve except for the photos below!!! Both the ‘Premier Talents’ insert and the ‘high Numbers Concert Dates/Fees’ insets are also the true 1st presses as they are BOTH printed on yellow paper (later copies are on white paper). Also has the original 1st pressing insert with the small ‘Overhead Guitar’ picture which, on the reverse side has the ‘hand written’ lyrics reproduced in the correct ‘blue’ biro - see images – on ALL later pressings this is reproduced in black pen. It is virtually impossible to find this insert in its TRUE original 1st press state with blue biro!!! All twelve inserts are present and in MINT condition!!! Of course this rare LP comes with its Original and correct Track 'Made in England' & 'British Patent' poly-lined windowed inner sleeve! This is also stunning, with NO seam splits, Perfect sharp corners and poly inner lining still firmly attached!!! Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.
We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
